The cine lens is designed to maintain discreet focus as it zooms in or out, and Catta's full-frame line reproduces color accuracy and smoothness in this wide T2.9 to T22 range . . . . There's an aperture to go up that shows focus/defocus changes, a 16-blade iris for smooth bokeh, and a long 20.1" close-focus range.

According to its cine settings, it has a focus rotation of 270°, a zoom rotation range of 100° and an iris rotation range of 77°. PL mount keeps the lens exposed, and easily swapped with includes optional E mount and EF mount bayonet. Many components are included in the lens, such as front and rear lens caps, shim sets, support bases and support rods.
