Combining the frame rates, lowlight performance and resolution of the V-RAPTOR® line with KOMODO® world-class shutter advancements, the V-RAPTOR [X] 8K VV sensor is the latest advancement in digital cinema imaging with the latest RED 8K using the end of the VV sensor, the V -RAPTOR [X] takes advantage of the highly variable format, global shutter, high framerate, 8K achievement, all in a compact and feature-rich body weighing just over 4lbs

The V-RAPTOR [X] is the world’s first high-definition camera available. It builds on the same keystone features found on the original V-RAPTOR, such as 2x 12G SDI capable of tracking unique views, throwing Canon RF-style lens mounts for rigid and flexible lens choices, and CFexpress up to 800MB Type B-1. media/s formats such as 8K 120P. In addition, improved in-camera audio pre-amps and a redesigned sensor cavity designed to reduce light stray and improve contrast performance further emphasize the V-RAPTOR heritage
